Being one of the award winning monodramas of the company, the play tells the memories of a child during the Yom Kippur war in 1973 in Israel. Zibil won the Best Actress Award at Jaffa International Monodrama Festival in 2010.

Alon’s Smile
A one-woman show telling the story of an Israeli mother and her special needs child.
The play tells the story of Alon, a nine year old child with special needs, restricted to a wheel chair, suffering from epilepsy, fed by nasogastro tube and unable to speak.
Alon is the playwright’s son. He communicates with substitute communication aids and in spite of his unique difficulties, studies in the third grade of a regular elementary school.
With sincerity and humor, the mother reveals her unique experience with her son. She talks about the encounters with medical institutions, the family's crisis, the fears, the struggles, the complexity of everyday life, the moments of joy and the achievements.
This is a story about the persistence to see the person beyond his disability, showing the courage, joy and wisdom within a damaged body and the triumph of the spirit.

The show comprises of poems, songs, monologues and dialogues from Alterman's plays as well as stories from Israel's early years and Tel-Aviv's bohemian scene. The songs are performed by Slor in Hebrew and the sketches and stories performed by Sybil can also be presented in English.
